Champion engine weight

Well, after installing the new champion engine and running if for a short while, I think I'm going to pull the motor and ship if back to the builder. It has never had good oil pressure (less than 50 miles on engine) about 30 psi cold and running and 5 psi or less at hot idle. I'm beginning to hear a tap, maybe a wrist pin knock. Thought maybe the flex plate but the sound is not coming from the back of the engine.
So, Looks like I'll be building a shipping crate to send it back. I'm guessing 475-500 lbs?

Mine was billed at 779 lbs complete with the o/d trans and packaging so you are probably in the ballpark. Good Luck, Steve
