  • Corvette Transmission Shifter Boots fit?

Does anyone know if the 59-62 Corvette trans shifter boots fit the Stude T-10 4 spd shifter? Thanks! Dan

Is that the round accordion style?

No, Rich, its the rectangular style with a lip that goes under the retainer, has a round hole. Looks just like the original Stude 4 spd boot. I'm trying to get the dimensions right now. Dan

I was thinking that a Corvette would probably use an Avanti style, not Lark/Hawk.

It's SO much easier to just buy Stude. parts!

Here in Cali, we call don't call the round ones accordions, we call 'em concertinas.

Yep, I do buy Stude parts. Been over to Studebaker International twice in the last week! Dan

For what its worth, I purchased a new boot for my '63 Hawk 4 speed this summer from Stude-Intl and it fit very well. The retaining flange width was wider than the boot that I purchased from SASCO 20 years ago, which was a big improvement. When I tightened the chrome retaining ring, the boot stayed put and didnt slip out.
