I like pics like the next guy, but unless they are related to a technical or repair process, I'd like to view them in one of the other forums....I don't get a lot of time to read everything every day THX

If it was your posts Jack was referring to, I understand his point. You posted a bunch of pictures, then asked about a fuel issue that had nothing to do with the pictures. Personally, I have plenty of time to peruse the forum, so I don't care where the pictures are, but there is a specific section for them.

I don't think anyone was offended. I was merely making a suggestion.

              It isn't offensive at all...
Problem is, when someone replies to the original post, they need to 'prune' the pic's from their reply...or they will all show up again and again.
That goes for both the original poster, and the people replying.
We all need to be editors of what we post, [u]and what we reply to</u>.

I didn't think you were Raoul. This post was put up within a few minutes of my update this morning. I put the pictures up on the main forum. I'm just trying to enjoy my Studebaker and share the knowledge that I'm learning. As I'm quite sure there are several that want or need to learn. The forum has always been a huge help to me and the last thing I want this to turn into is a catty forum. To that end I moved the pictures.

I hate it when I miss pictures. Doesn't this thread belong in the non=studebaker related forum?

                      I'm with Jeff.

I don't think I've looked at a post yet that had too many pictures. Just think of how many thousands of words they have saved.[)]

The only thing that I don't understand is why anyone would reply to a posted item and copy all the pictures that appeared in the original post. It's a rather redundant redundancy!!!

Please post any number of reasonable pictures, let's jusy cull them from the replies unless you are using them to illustrate a point. It doesn't hurt my speed 'cause I've got the biggest internet pipe that Charter supplies to it's residential customers but I think we need to be a little more considerate of those that are "BANDWIDTH CHALLENGED"

I think I'm seeing better performance from the site. A while back it could be timing out for long periods of time. Now, if I get a timeout, I leave the site for a couple of minutes and it seems to come back with no issues.

WELL!!!! Maybe my site usage is the problem. If you-all will meet my demands maybe I'll let you have a faster site back. Remember, I'm not cheap
