  • ? r2+ springs

Does anyone have the actual closed and open specs of the r2+ springs? I searched the forums and couldnt find what I am looking for. Called Phil and he didnt have all of them.
    Thanks

Standard Studebaker R1-R2 springs at 155 PSI should be fine on a R1, R2 or R2+ Cam. The installed height and tested spring pressure at that height is all you should need.

Shim them up to correct any issues there.

Stock installed height is 2.031" and R 2+ is 90#. At 1 3/4" is 155#. At 1.631" (.400" lift and is what the R 2 cam would be) is 185. Coil bind is 1.375".

      Stock R 2 springs are 135* at 1 3/4"
