Anybody bought from Rock Automotive?

I have wondered the same thing about Rock. They list a voltage regulator Standard Motor Prodcts VR-015 for 56 Golden Hawk. does anyone know if it works ok for 56 (packard engine), another vendor says no and I can't get through the electronic maze at Standard Motor Products Hq to find out.

I have purchased numorous times from Rockauto.com including master cyl, wheel cyl, flex hoses, brake shoes, brake light switch, shocks, plug wires, spark plugs, dist cap, fan belts and a variety of gaskets for both my 56 Hawk and 60 Lark usually at about 1/2 the price I would have paid elsewhere. I had to replace the A/C condenser on my 78 chxxy truck - the local flaps wanted anywhere from $210.00 to $240.00 I got one from Rock Auto for $109.00 plus $20.00 freight. I now go to them before anyone else unless I am in a hurry and can't wait a couple days, which is all it usually takes for parts to arrive from them

Just got a new set of rear wheel cylinders for my Champ.

As much as I would like to have bought them from one of our vendors Rock Auto sold them for a third of what our vendors are getting, and being a CASCO just couldn't part with the extra $100 it would have cost me to get them from one of our vendors.

Yes, they're a great source for parts at good prices- most of the time. I do find cheaper prices elsewhere from time to time so be sure to shop around.

I have yet to purchase from them, but there pricing seems more than fair and the interactive catalog is great!

I have been doing business with Rock Auto for several years now.I just bought a 50 amp Honda alternator for $40.83 DELIVERED.Now the question is, can I use this to replace my Prestolite?[?]Thankfully, they have a good return policy, too.
