I would like to install new lower inner control arm bushings in a 64 Daytona V8. I do not have the tools listed in the shop manual, nor an air chisel, nor a press. I'm thinking of removing the lower control arm assembly, then doing the bushing removal while the control arms are out of the car. But those bushings are very hard to get out. For someone without the tools listed above, how is this done?
I have successfully removed and replaced the upper inners before, on several cars, but I'm intimidated by those larger, lower inners.
Thanks for the help.
