New spark plugs and the 63 Avanti fired right up. Now the fun starts- fixing things. I got it up on the lift and the frame and undercarriage are rock solid. Most of the undercoating is still there. The fuel pump is not delivering any gas so I blew out the lines and have gas to the pump. Tomorrow I will replace the lines and filter before I rebuild it.
But as we looked over the underside, my son noticed the leaf springs were nearly flat without the upward curve.
Is this normal for an Avanti?
After that rebuild the brakes (don't have any now)
