  • 3M Super Trim Adhesive 8090

    All I can say to the forum members that suggested using it for installing the foil faced insulation in the roof of my 54K is: THANK YOU !!! [^][^]

    What a great combination of low tack and high adhesion. Installed the insulation by myself in two pieces and it worked great. Light contact could be seperated unlike contact cement but sticks like grim death when pressed into place.

    A piece of advice to fellow CASO's, spend the $20 for the spray can and walk past the cheap stuff.

    If you want to put the insulation in in one piece, invite a friend or two.

    I have long been an admirer of this particular product, and have recommended it to a number of people. Glad to hear that it worked for you. Sometimes you gotta pay for quality. One last piece of advice: make sure the spray nozzle is clean, or you'll never be able to use what's left in the can.
