  • head bolt error

In my haste to bolt the head onto the block I forgot to attach the oil filter bracket. The head has been torqued to spec. If I remove the two bolts and install the bracket will this damage the head gasket? If not, when tightening the bolts should I do all the bolts in the proper sequence or just the two that I screwed up? Thanks.

Just the two; no problem. Just like changing a thermostat.

Like buddymander said- no problem. However, I re-torque heads after driving a car for a while anyhow.
