You should only need a "Part". One New Water Pump, most come with new screws, copper screw washers and Gasket.

You can move it an 1/8"?! And it isn't leaking? Not sure what is more alarming/interesting. How it can be that bad and not leaking is somewhat impressive. Definitely sounded like a bad bearing for sure though, small bucket of loose bolts rattling around.

Rattle was indeed from the water pump! Although not leaking, the bearing was growling.
