What is the fuel tank capacity of the 1964 GT Hawk? Is it the same for a 1955 Coupe?

I believe Avantis are the Only Post War Studebaker Light Truck or Car that is NOT 18 gallons, they are 21.StudeRich

Rich back in the day when my Avanti was a "daily driver".........................way back in the day.................even when I filled the tank up to the fill neck, the car never ever took 21 gallons.Comment

Only when the car was immediately driven back on the highway did I tend to fill the tank like that, I learned the hard way that to fill the car and just park it in the Florida sun was a one way to ruin the rear Q panel:-(Comment
