The model number should be stamped into the edge of the mounting flange.
Sorry I can't help you with the output pressure.Paul

would this be sufficient for an edelbrock avs2 500cfm ?
was reading somewhere 6psi is the sweet spot.
the original carter 4barrels where smaller ?
Does the ethanol rebuild kit give it slightly more psi?
I do have an electric fuel pump installed, but only for priming.

That pressure is Fine, the Volume is more important though.
If operated above 4000 RPM often, a Carter Super Pump is recommended as on R1 and R2 Avantis.StudeRich

....so for your street driving / cruising and casual low performance street drag, it will be fine.
will using a larger fuel line from pump to carby help increase volume?

Welcome to the forum. Are you in South Africa or South America, or Australia?
Most Studebakers in the 50's and 60's ran 450 to 600cfm carbs. If you have a 2,500cfm you will drown the poor V8 and have very poor performance in my opinion. I had a 1955 V8 that had a Carter but I don't remember back to 1968 what the cfm was but with the overdrive the car ran great up to 120mph@4,500 rpm. That was pretty much the limit due to valve float above 4,500. The mid 60's performance V8's had strong valve springs that give you higher rpms.
My 57 Golden Hawk does not the supercharger hooked up so it is running a standard fuel pump. The GH pump is different in that is has a pressure line running from the blower to get more psi when the blower is engaged. The car runs great and from a start, with the 3 speed and overdrive and a 3.92 TT dif has not problem leaving other cars behind at a stop light start.
Best regards

finally got a to start on updating the carby....
pump overhaul, ----glass bowl filter.
my kit came with a brass filter and different spring.
And that spring is perfect for holding the brass filter in the glass bowl.
Would the mesh by itself be better flow?
or just stick with the older type filter?
It is possible to use both filters with the old spring
