Steering: Steering box lubrication

I’m wondering about the steering box lube. Should I try to drain/flush and refill? Do you have any idea what to put in it? Thank you, Roger

You can go to Studebaker International. They sell the correct grease for steering gear box.

It depends what steering box you have. Certain Ross boxes call for the special lubricant SI sells, while other Ross boxes and the Saginaw box do not (GL-1, I think, but check).
