Interior: GT Hawk interior trim

Front edge of the interior rear quarter trim panel. The Stainless trim piece looks like it has something stapled to it. Windlace?

Hard to make out the picture, but probably yes. There is windlace at the back of the door opening.

There is a pretty big space for the door latch mechanisms on the door and back post, and you don't always want the wind to come in.

Gotta wonder if windlace and trin retainer were stapeled to body their. some are screwed to body but...... working on 63 GT and will have to look closer when we get back end of march. Luck Doofus

Stapled to door card. Windlace attached to pillar by inadequate little clips stamped into interior body panel.

Ok that makes sense as to why they were all bent up. Thanks for the reply.
