In the early 90's, I had a fellow from New England sleeve a number of cylinders in stainless steel. What he did not do was seal the sleeve to the cylinder. The cylinders on a rear brake leaked fluid on the brake linings and almost put me and the car over a cliff in the mountainous California gold country.

New calipers from partsgeek are running about $85. They are Sumitomo made by Nissan and are a direct replacement. If you have a set of original Bendix and going for originality, the sleeving may make sense, otherwise ...

I went to Hye-Dra-Cyl website and they sell new SS calipers for $219+. So, not sleeved. Still a bit pricey for me. Apple Hydraulics sleeves calipers in brass and ss. Brass are $80 for sleeving. You need to purchase rebuild kit and assemble. Sleeved and rebuilt are $125. In any case, you provide core.
New Sumitomo from partsgeek are $86. Seems like a like a no-brainer to me.

The Hye-Dra-Cyl units I purchased are 2 1/4" so you get appreciably more stopping power (over the stock 2 1/8") without any other changes.
