No. Studebaker never offered a 4 speed shifter from the factory, though many people have installed one.
regarding shift handles, bench seat cars got the curved handle, while those ‘62-‘64s received a straight handleEric DeRosa

You can use a Hurst shifter with the removable handle and have a nice round handle that looks STOCK made for it. Since it is all hidden below the floor no one would ever know...except it can now be shifted!!!!

I installed a Hurst shifter on my ‘63 GT, and it is the single best thing I’ve ever added to the car. The original shifter had a mile of distance between gears and was so sloppy. Hurst has nice, short throws with no slop. Found the mounting plate template for it in an old Dick Datsun performance book I have. Might be able to find it for you if you need it.

My 63 Superlark got a Hurst shifter before it was a year old. The original Studebaker shifter was made by Ansen. It was not a very strong or durable unit and somewhat sloppy. Chevy used the same shifter up to 1963. Many of those were replaced with Hurst units as well.james r pepper
