62 GT Grills

There is a 62 Gt parts car on Ebay, and it appears to have chrome side grill shells. Did they make chrome grill shells in 62, or was this done post production?

I believe that most, if not all, 1962 Hawks built in Canada, or those for export, had chrome side grilles in place of the painted side grilles used for US Hawks.
