  • New Shoes for a Lark

I am still trying to buy a 61 Lark and need new tires. I was told I should replace the wheels due to age, cracking, poor fit for new radials, etc. Are these the ones I want?

I was considering 215/75/15 with these. Will this work?

I think these are metric bolt circle. Not for sure. I have one here just like it and it wouldn't pull up right on the 56 wagon. Went to the pull a part and bought an old Dodge wheel.

As soon as you find a product you like they will stop making it.

Chrysler 5th Avenue wheels work fine on an Avanti. They should work on a Lark too.

I have always run radials on the original wheels of my Larks. I run the 215/75/15 without any trouble. Maybe on the heavier model cars there might be issues, but I doubt it. My Larks have always been daily drivers that probably get more miles a year than everybody's brand X cars. I also spin balance them on the drag strip without any trouble.[] Just inspect them for rust and damage from the previous owners & you will be good to go.
