    I certainly wouldn't worry about an engine color match as you contemplate, Eddie. Engine color will change due to engine heat and time anyway, so it's hard to imagine any color selected as you described will be that far off. BP

    Mid-gloss black for those items.

    Technically, though, you can't see the water pump itself when the engine is assembled...just the water pump manifold. The manifold should be painted the engine's primary color (same as heads and block). [8D]BP

    Valve covers "Gold", check..."Bearcat" Decals.

    Crank, WP, Generator pullies--? Black, blue?
    Miscellaneous engine brackets, dipstick tube and handle--Same question.
