Other: Definition of FLAPS

I keep seeing the term FLAPS in posts regarding parts procurement. Being relatively new to these forms I missed the memo explaining the Acronym. Please Advise.

I , also , was confused about the word " FLAPS ". I thought it may have been a chain store not in my part of the country . There are other forums that have these things also , and are very confusing . I think the tractor forum I look at is the worst .
