  • Nancy Lea Jones-Pfahler

It is with a heavy and saddened heart that I post this message. At 5:00 pm yesterday, on her birthday the Lord took home Nancy Pfahler. As the Apostle Paul said “She fought the good fight” lasting over five weeks after a very serious open- heart operation. Many members of her family were by her side at the Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when she went to be reunited with her late husband Thomas Pfahler.

She leaves behind three sons, Ronnie (Kelly), Tommy, and Karl and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy also leaves behind three brothers, Donald L. Jones (Diana), Charles A. Jones (Rebecca), and H. Lee Jones and one sister Elizabeth (Betsy) C. Appelgate..

Nancy was an active member of the SDC and, the Keystone Region Chapter for over 50 years, the Studebaker National Foundation Board and the VMCCA.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be posted here when available.

Here is my sister's Obituary and Funeral arrangements:
