  • Koral’ Malcolm Barry

Very sad to read on Facebook about the passing of my good friend Malcolm Barry. Malcolm was one of the guys that welcomed me into the club 20 years ago, he never turned nutty, never turned crabby, or hateful, which for some reason happens in the Studebaker world.. He always remained a friend, and somebody I look forward to seeing when I could get to an event.

Rest in peace, my friend, life well done.

I’ve known Malcomb just about forever. I was recently at his place checking out his latest project, a 53 coupe with a supercharged flat head six. I think he had it developing 115 HP at 3600 rpm. Very respectable to say the least. His son Steve will be finishing what his father knew was his last project. Malcomb was looking for a nice door to replace a banged up one on the car. Now Steve will be looking for it. Yes, a truly remarkable human being. I miss him that is for sure.
