  • Dick Clemons

I just found out Saturday that our former chapter member, Dick Clemens, passed away. Dick had been in declining health for some time. Some of you will remember him from his posts as Studedick. Dick, who moved here from California, had been in the SDC for over 50 years.

Sad news, indeed. Dick was my roomie at one of the National Meets. Good guy. RIP, Dick.

I delivered a lovely Lark interior for him in SB a few years back. Great guy to interact with. RIP.

Another Studebaker friend gone. Whenever I talked to him he was always a good ambassador for Studebaker. When I brought my very young nephew to the 2007 IM he gave him a pretty good sales pitch Now that kid is grown up and he works on an Xfinity race team, but he still has a fondness for Studebakers.

Dick‘s last post on Facebook was January 16, when he posted this picture. I think the picture was from a few years back. RIP, my friend.
