Rick Rechek, WI Region SDC president

It is with great sadness that we just received news of the passing of our WRSDC President, Rick Rechek due to complications of COVID-19. Rick was a truly loved by everyone in the club. His care and concern for others was exemplary - even as he faced tremendous health problems in his life. Rick loved Studebakers and enjoyed all his friends in the WRSDC club. He was a well-spoken man and a great listener. He will be missed by all of us. A better man than Rick would be hard to find.
We would like to express our sympathy to his family and his wife Lynn.

Funeral arrangements have been made for February 1st at Peace United Church of Christ 3613 Waldo Blvd. Manitowoc, Wi. 54220

Visitation from 9:00 to 11:00A.M.,. Church service to follow at 11:00. MASKS to be worn inside the church building. Lunch to follow the service. After the lunch anyone who wants can come to the St. Claire/St. Mary Cemetary at 2:30 just behind the church of the same name at 2212 Day Street (hwy 96) Greenleaf, Wisconsin.

So sorry Pete to hear of the loss of still another Good, SDC Member who obviously has helped promote and Grow the Local Chapters with his helpful attitude.
The World needs more like him, the very Best to all his many Friends and Family, may the Good Lord be with them all.

Thanks Pete for getting Rick's passing posted here on the forum. He truly was a guy that didn't deserve this. It is an honor to have known and worked with him while we still lived up in Wisconsin. He will be deeply missed by all of us that knew him. Our condolences to Lynn and his family. Rest in Peace Rick. Bill & Patti

I am saddened to learn of Rick's passing. I know from reading all of the newsletters that I received, that the Wisconsin chapter held him in high regard. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and the Wisconsin chapter.

There are many active members in the Wisconsin Chapter that can take over as President... and hopefully someone steps up. However NO ONE will have the smile and "sticktooitivness" that Rick had. We lost another of the "good guys"
