  • Back to the 50's car show

Anyone headed to Minneapolis for the show? Find the Hagerty booth and introduce yourself to me! There are over 12,000 vehicles registered for the show. I will definitely be in my glory!

Someday I need to get back to back to the 50s.... Last time was in 2010. My stude is DOA right now in the garage with the gas tank out though and me too busy with "stuff" to work on it.

Some cousins of mine always have their T-bucket rod there every year and when I saw them last weekend at a family reunion they were talking about being there this year.

For anyone who's not been there before, get your application/entry/fee in by mid April as I recall.

I'll try and drop by tomorrow.Spent today wandering around.
The show never fails to entertain.Spotted numerous Studebakers.
Heard a rumor the show might top 13,000 vehicles this year.

Wish I could make it up there sometime... Right now I am getting ready for Warwick... 1,100 miles from here & hopefully by the time I get there I will have devoured a fresh lobster or two!

Talked to quite a few Studebaker owners. Saw probably 10 Studes and 2 Packards, but I really didn't get to walk around except on lunch breaks. It was hot and muggy! We heard that the overall attendance was way down this year. Impressive weekend!

Here are the pictures of Studes that I took on Friday -- and a couple from the swap meet on Sunday:
