Clearing out Lambeau Field after a big snowfall is a big thing to thousands of Packer fans. I want to be one of those shovelers some time, but now living in Florida, I don't think it will happen. There have been several situations similar to Buffalo's in Green Bay, and the job gets done. The authorities have never prohibited movement during snowfalls, but have issued cautions. Maybe those Wisconsinites are crazy, but the NFL games get played, no matter what the weather brings. Bill

Fox Sports reports that the Bills Jets game will not be played on Sunday and may be moved to another location and might play on Monday night.

Possibly the decision was made after the Sabres cancelled their hockey game. The current forecast now is that some parts of Buffalo will be under NINE FEET OF SNOW by morning. I don't think even Green Bay ever got that much. Anyway cooler heads have prevailed.

Whatever happened to common sense? Buffalo is wallowing under 8 feet of snow and is under a national emergency situation. The National Guard has been called in to help and the highways are closed. On top of all that snow a thaw is coming and Buffalo will be experiencing mammoth flooding. Just how important is a football game?

Hopefully our Buffalo area SDC members who are ticket holders will call Bills management and try and talk some common sense into their heads.

            Here's what they say:

"The NFL announced Thursday afternoon that the Bills' Week 12 game against the New York Jets will be re-scheduled and moved to a different location due to the six feet of snow that has fallen in some towns south of Buffalo.

As of Thursday, the league hadn't settled on a location, but Detroit and Washington, D.C., are among the locations the league is reportedly considering.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bills could even have trouble getting Ralph Wilson Stadium ready for their Week 13 home game against the Cleveland Browns. The Bills asked the community to help them clear out more than 220,000 tons of snow from the stadium, but the driving ban still hasn't been lifted in Orchard Park, and the snow is continuing to come down at a rapid rate. The NFL wants to make sure clearing the streets in the towns south of Buffalo is the first priority.

"We have been in contact with local authorities," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in a tweet. "All available public safety resources must be available for the community at this time."

I have lived in Buffalo for most of my life. Storms come and go but we survive. If one game made a difference in our never-ending quest for a Super Bowl I am sure we would all support it but as passionate as we are, we are also reasonable. The NFL pulls the strings so comments should directed their way.

That's OK!, an NFC fan, especially from the old 'Black & Blue' division, is alright by me!

I am old enough to remember when the QB for the Bills was Jack Kemp and the Bills were part of the old AFL. Most people seem to forget now days the Bills went to the Super Bowl four times came very close once to winning a Super Bowl. At that time I was a Jets fan and thought Joe Namath was a Cool Dude.

By now we know that the game has been moved to Detroit on Monday. After seeing some of the pics of the stadium, I couldn't imagine they could get it cleared safely, in time for the game, so better thinking was accomplished. For the record, I AM a Green Bay Packer, so watch out Bob, YOU'RE the enemy! Go Pack GO!

Yes, hopefully the New England Patriots, (SN-60's second favorite NFL team after the Pack), will put away the Lions this weekend!!
