  • '67 Corvette found with 2,996 original miles

I don't think this has been posted before. It's a pretty amazing story (if it's true)- a 1967 Corvette with 2,996 original miles found sitting in a garage in Colorado Springs CO.

As Lambrecht taught us, anything is possible... and, you never know what's still out there undiscovered!

This is one of the very best examples of an investment-type car. I bet the value will continue to climb indefinitely, into the 7 figures, much faster than any other investment. Not many cars can legitimately fit that criteria.

I'm typically not a fan of the styling of Sting Rays, although I know they're well-engineered. I'd take a '62 with hardtop anytime.

However, I think that is a sharp '67 in a good color combo.

The '67 was cleaned up a bit I think--fewer fake scoops, etc.--and I think I've read they were probably the best-assembled Corvettes ever; something that St. Louis wasn't known for.

An original owner of one I see at local cruises said he was mad when his came in, that they had removed the hole in the pad above the glovebox that served as a 'handle', on the '67. I guess even then, the opportunity to save $.50 per car was irresistable.
