  • Working miniature airport

This German video is 16 minutes long, but is absolutely unbelievable- cycles through daytime, dusk, night, dawn and daytime, takeoffs and landings, much more. I just planned to watch a bit then go on- ended up watching the whole thing.

Really amazing how all this works. There was a report on TV about this. Fascinating.

Some folks let their 'hobby' get a little out of hand, eh?
I'll admit to not watching the whole video, but I have seen this model railroad before.
The airport is just a portion of what there is to see.

When I can remember where I saw it-
      I'll post more videos...

Truly remarkable. I've seen this before, but it's fascinating to watch everything work in such detail. WOW!!!

Not really. If you look closely you can see tiny little bags getting lost.

When I posted the video I didn't realize that it was part of the "world's largest model railroad layout" in Hamburg, Germany. The url below is a shorter video, in English, that explains the whole layout and cites many facts (numbers of lights, computers, etc).

We also have a miniature park in Lugano, Southern Switzerland. It is a replica of Switzerland.
