Isn't this the one that evolved into "The Rebel Machine" ? I always thought the '68/69 Road Runner and Fairlane "formal roof" cars and these were quite similar looking at a glance. LIKE it !!!

[U]Very[U] nice! Love Ramblers just a little bit less than Studebakers.

Not at all unlike the 1968 Rebel SST 343/4-bbl/4-speed/duals/Twin-Grip of which I had custody in the late 1970s and early 1980s!

I had a plain jane 4 door 67 Rebel as a daily driver. That base V-8 got me pulled over by the cops many times!!! Fast little sleeper.

I've always thought that MoPar got "inspired" a bit by this body. B-body Plymouths would look rather similar in the couple of years following.

LOVE the ragtop version - a rare "machine" indeed.

My father bought a slightly used '67 Rebel in 1967 from a guy at work. It was a plain 2 door post car with a 232 two barrel ohv 6 and 3 on the tree trans. I was quite impressed with its styling and that six would scoot.
