Again, it is the Gilmore Museum located near Hickory Corners, Michigan. Be prepared to spend a full day there.

I don't recall seeing any in the Gilmore Museum, but there is one in the Petersen Museum!

Is that a Toyopet Crown? I remember some years back someone had a Toyopet which was in excellent shape and only needed one thing to get it back on the road as an antique--a rear window. Three years later, he still hadn't found one anywhere...

Yes, a 1959 Toyopet Crown. Brian Henninger, the owner of Henninger Toyota here presently owns a black 1960 Toyopet Crown. They were first sold in California, and then the dealership organization spread north and east from there. Brian's car was sold new in the San Francisco area, and the owner moved to Calgary in the early 1970's, and brought it to Henninger's for servicing. Jack Henninger, Brian's father mentioned to the owner that he wanted to be first in line to buy it when he was ready to sell, and he kept his promise. This blue car in the Petersen Museum is part of Toyota USA's museum and was on loan to the Petersen Museum when I was there a year ago. Below is the Heninger car.

Couldn't the Mobilette use a larger headlamp? It seems so puny. BP

I was gonna say something about that fantastic looking headlight...I'll bet it can be turned to help the driver see around bends in the road and such.

I don't know how I missed this thread. I'm glad to see another one exists.
I live near Harvey, Illinois where the Mobilette was produced.
It was built there from 1913 to 1917.
The car was touted as “America’s First Cyclecar”

In a pinch, can probably be used to alert ships at sea!
