How well I know those cars- and adore them. There will always be 70s MoPars in and out of my life. Tons of great memories of these cars.

Although I do admit I cringed preparing to see yet another Sherwood Green MoPar (bleah!) I think that's Turquoise; much nicer.

Not a lot of 72 Furys in film. Seems as if there was a crazy man driving ia Green Convert. across fields and such featured in Thunderbolt and Lighfoot or another of those '70's buddy adventures?

These are my first demonstraters when I started my career of selling new cars in Huntington, Indiana. I had several four doors and a two door Fury lll. The light yellow with black vinyl top Fury lll four door with the "Top Hat" package was less than $4900. The torsionquiet ride and rear leaf springs was a better suspension and better handling car than the competition offered.
I miss the gear reduction starter sound, and liked it. Some customers did not and that cost some sales.

There are a few 1972 Ply Furys restored as period police vehicles...........

One guys has/had a restored 1972 Virginia State Police Fury I 440 Magnum that was actually a VaSP sedan.

The distinctive sound of the gear reduction drive starter - that brings back memories.

              A Fury III?
              I don't think the base/fleet models had hide-a-ways.

              Neat car.

I do not believe that Fury I, II or III had hideaways. I think that was reserved for Sport and Gran models
