If i wasn't so deep into Studebakers, Hudson would be my 2nd choice.

Local body work guru is restoring a 40 just like this one, except for the colour which is a brown, for his personal use. Will be absolutely bone stock with no modern upgrades of any sort. Hudsons were/are special cars. My Grandad adored his 35? 36? through 46? Hudsons and Terraplanes, which he averred gave him more satisfaction than any vehicle before or after in about 65 years of car ownership and driving

Another California Auto Museum car. I've been told the color is original.

As a retired postmaster, I've always been tempted to check the mailbags on display with the mailtruck parked next to the Hudson. I'd hate to think there might be an overlooked letter stuffed into this "supposedly empty equipment".

At one time there was a 46 or 47 (not sure of year) model around here that was a pickup. It was similar in design to the Stude Coupe Express. Someone had swapped in a sbc. I don't know whatever happened to it.
