My new Subaru Outback came with a Getting Started Guide to supplement the 624 page Owners Manual. I downloaded the big manual to my laptop to make searching, etc easier. Most important things are in the Guide, but trying to figure something out is daunting.

I bet the contents consist of 25% actual instructions for use, while the other 75% is all warning boxes and cautionary labels.

You got a printed copy of the owner's manual? Wow! Lucky you! I got a link to Ford website and an online account to access it with......

I ask the sales manager what happens when the buyer doesn't have a computer, or smart phone. Kinda looked at me with, "Deere caught in the High Beams", look...................

And that actually includes VERY useful maintenance info and fancy words like "climatizer."

And there's probably if 10 pages actually containing useful upkeep info and the rest have a dealer directory # if the touch screen controlling everything breaks or how to attach the cargo net to a plastic hook....

I’ll bet none of them give instructions on how to push start your car …..like the Lark manuals
