Since you brought up board tracking, this "inmate" (we call each other) built his own. While there are plenty of original type owners in any motorized forum, I was just amazed by how talented he was.

Here we go... my first bike build and my first thread so bear with me. About a year back I decided I wanted to build a motorcycle from scratch. I've...

I live about five miles from the site of the Amatol Board Speedway. If you do desire, you can still walk the big oval, now a woodland path. Nothing remains, except the Administration building, now a closed State Police facility. My Grandfather, born in 1896, told me that he knew it in operation, with horrible loose planks. He said he’d stick his head up as cars were zooming by!! Of course, he was slightly weird anyway, in Vaudville he rode a unicycle while singing and playing a banjo!
