Look what arrived in my driveway yesterday. Bought it at a local estate sale. Compared to my Lark, it's lighter, easier to park and doesn't leak anything. Best news: wife says I can buy as many of these as I want. I may have found a new outlet for my Studebaker passion!
It is a mint Studebaker - Danbury Mint.
It is 1:24 scale and I paid $30, so mathematically it was a steal.
I know, I know - it's a Chinese copy, but isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery?
Now, if I can only figure out how to upsize it. Maybe a vigorous application of a formulation of water, Miracle Gro, and a certain little blue pill . . . . .
