Hi all, I'm new to the Studebaker world! I've always really been into VW's and have had many of those. One of my buddies showed me a deal I couldn't pass up...so now I am the proud owner of a 1964 Commander! I have definitely fallen for this thing already and I look forward to diving into it more. This forum has already helped me get a few things straight on her, so thanks!
So far, I have....
-Put in an electronic distributor
-new plugs/wires
-Changed the passenger front glass because it was broken
-Put new front running and tail light lenses
-new fuel pump
-freshen up carb
-air filter
-chased down a wiring issue in the dash for the headlight switch
-rebuilt the starter
It's been a good time and I look forward to actually driving this thing after I re-install the starter and do some brake work.
Cheers!
