Yes and no, Craig. At the time we were at The 1962 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race Time Trials in May 1962, we were yet to ride in that car.

Assuming it was indeed that car (and it probably was), we didn't get escorted off the Proving Ground in it until [probably] June 1962, the following month...or maybe even July. Neither of us kept diaries or anything and unless George remembers for sure, I don't. BP

No matter when, which Avanti etc, it makes for a great story and I’m sure, great memories. Everybody who loves Avantis relish the story and are somewhat jealous wishing it was a threesome and they were the third party.
