Considering using this wheel. Should I have it painted red to match the body or white to matched the top?

If you mean only what currently appears to be a white rim, I think I like the current look.
If you mean painting the entire wheel, ie. the silver center too, I think that would be too much in either color. Kinda like those white “spoked” wheels that used to come on ‘70’s Blazers.

Interesting wheel - I can't place it from anywhere. Either color would be cool but my vote would be white, to tie in the two tone better.
Or "both" - red rim and white center.

They are from a 1990 Bonneville and since I had them in storage I thought I'd see how the would look on the car. I originally was going to go with 15"steel wheels and Packard wheel covers. The outer rim is just coated aluminum color not white.

Not that my opinion is worth anything when it comes to someone else's car, but I think those wheels are too "understated" for a '58 Packard.

That car needs flashy wheels with wide whites.

Matt those would make the perfect Christmas present and yes spoked chrome were my first choice but right now those will be a future enhancement as resources ($$$) become available.
The other choice is aluminum wheels from a mid 70's Lincoln but I'm not sure if they will work with GM bolt patten.
