I was just shy of two here, and the Champ was about three years old. My dad brought this photo over yesterday to me. I don't know what saddens me the most...... how so many years have gone by..... or the just how sad of shape the old pickup is now.

Champ floors don't last long with a pouty kid!

Just wish my welding and body work skills had improved through the years......

Interesting that it looks like the front bumper and wheels had been painted to match the body color. Too bad a time machine couldn't pop it back into that condition.

After the Oregon State Police auctioned off the pickups, they had them supposedly painted at the state penitentiary. Other than the bumper and wheels, they look to have done a nice job of painting it.
