  • International Drive Your Studebaker Day

Webmaster Bob Shaw asked to post my success in working with the local media to get coverage for our upcoming Drive Your Studebaker Day. I contacted the newspaper's managing editor, gave her a copy of the press release, and informed her I could line up some local Studebaker car owners if she was interested in a feature. She was. We did a photo shoot yesterday (June 23) of five cars and owners and they interviewed local owners, including a three-generation Studebaker family who live nearby. We are anxiously awaiting what I believe will be a sizeable feature story. Additionally, the local car club has a car show on July 4 and I will enter my 53 Starliner in it with the Drive Your Studebaker sign in the window. -- Dick Fitch, Kerrville, TX

      Yes! Yes! Yes!
I know there is a special forum for this subject, but........

This is [u]the</u> time to communicate with your local newspaper, radio and TV station, etc. to promote this event.

Media publications are always looking for content.
      Help them out!
