  • Alas and alack!

As an early proponent and promoter of this first IDYSD (I was in Bob's video and distributed fliers at Lancaster), I'm afraid I won't be participating.[V]

One week a year I go en masse with family and friends to lay on the beach and gorge on fine cuisine. Family schedules make it that week and I will be a passenger, not a driver.

Now...if I had one of those Studebaker airport limos that could haul eight or more people...

    Solution:

    1. What is the beach location?
    2. Which SDCers are within easy driving distance to the beach location?
    3. Brad drives the visiting SDCer's Studebaker on a road near the beach (gaining many thumbs up and seductive waves from beach bunnies) while the visiting Studebaker owner (having driven his Stude to the beach thus fulfilling his own DYSD obligation) gets to languish on the beach with a mai tai or mojito (courtesy of Brad, of course) whilst regaling more beach bunnies with fascinating Studebaker Stories.

    Win-win.
