The 2024 Boone NC "Fall Fling" Meet was held today, September 14 2024 in conjunction with International Drive Your Studebaker Day. Ten Studebakers from North Carolina and Tennessee attended, as well as some other makes since the "Fall Fling" was open to all makes. The weather started off overcast and rainy, but after lunch the sun came out and the weather turned out beautiful. Location was the Deerfield United Methodist Church, which was a great place to host this meet. Their fellowship area gave us a place to get out of the morning rain, plus lunch was available from the kitchen area. Lunch, entry fee, raffle, etc was all by donation to the church's benevolence fund. Thanks to Colin Murray and his family for setting up this great meet. It was really nice to see old friends, and to meet new friends.
