The weather looked a bit threatening in the morning, but soon cleared and nobody got wet. The "Cars and Coffee" events at the Speedway tend to attract newer cars, which allowed the Studebakers to get more attention. My '55 Commander was happy to pose for pictures, and welcomed a few families that just wanted to sit inside.
