  • '60 Lark door weight

    Good Morning everyone,
I'm trying to get a shipping quote for one of our forum buddies and I need a guesstimate of what a '60 Lark front door, with regulator, glass and hinges might weigh? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Bill

    Use your bathroom scale.

A door with all the equipment still attached will weigh less than the average adult, and won't hurt it at all.

And shipping companies are not like the Post Office who weigh something to the exact ounce/gram.

      Thanks Craig,
The current difficulty is that the car won't fit on my bathroom scale. Just being factitious, HA HA. I haven't removed the doors yet, just trying to get an idea for obtaining shipping quotes. I'm thinking 125 or so??

Keep in mind that a 2 Door Sedan is heavier than a Hardtop Door, and a 4 Door Sedan is lighter (shorter) than a 2 Door Sedan.
Probably not a huge difference, but definitely not the same.
