If you google 1937 Studebaker Coupe express you will find the same truck listed all over the country and Sweden,
One of the listings has the license plate showing.

The Alameda '37 CE is still on Craigslist.

The sellers phone number is the same as was listed in this old thread.....When he first got the CE.

In one pic it has CA plates and the other pic it has Kansas plates. (Pretty sure that's not the same truck)

The AD bases it in CA.

The mobile phone claims it is based out of Oakland, CA.

Two questions (maybe 3). I can't view any of the old pictures.

Is this the same vehicle? http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/5783951365.html

Is $35k just nuts for an unrestored example? I mean, seriously, what could a finished CE bring?

in 2015 at the fall auction at auburn a lovely gray 37 ce sold for about 63K to a dealer in St louis who promplty listed it for sale at 90K IIRC. I don't know if they still have it or not.

The 37 CE is one of those rare vehicles which I would not quarrel with a single design feature. A really lovely design.

Here's a 39 Coupe Express for a little less money. Too bad it was rodded rather than restored.

I like the color and the taillights. Anybody know what they are? The front bumper sits out there pretty far, is that stock? I like the rear bumper too, wonder what that is from. It looks like only a small child could fit in there with those swivel seats! Its not bad with the stock seat though. A 383 does ding my bell but the truck looks nice overall. It'll be interesting to see what it brings.

The tail lights are 1940 Commander/President. Personally, not much I like about the modifications. To each his own. I have owned five '39 CE, currently have one.

When I saw that it had a 383 engine, I thought that it was a Chrysler Corp. engine, but I guess that it is a modified GM engine that GM never made.
