  • Who says you need a SBC in every rod!

    This is a really nice job and shows what you can do when you keep the original power train!

    Beautiful car, and the supercharger adds to the "cool factor", but 107 HP on the chassis dyno? No bragging rights there. Honda Civics do better than that [V].

        Maybe on HP but 204 Ftlbs of torque are probably not in the cards for a Civic unless it is turboed.

          Maybe on HP but 204 Ftlbs of torque are probably not in the cards for a Civic unless it is turboed.

            Chalk another for the Packard's RWD [)]....
            1964 Studebaker Commander R2 clone
            1963 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop with no engine or transmission
            1950 Studebaker 2R5 w/170 six cylinder and 3spd OD
            1955 Studebaker Commander Hardtop w/289 and 3spd OD and Megasquirt port fuel injection(among other things)

                Now that is cool[8D]! I would have thought the horsepower would have been a bit more with the supercharger, but then it is cool. Oh, I already said that[)]. I wonder if the rest of the drive train is stock, or what he has done to it.

                It is a beautiful automobile.
