As you may know, the '60 Lark has a one year only headlight switch; 3 position: park, headlights, and headlight with instrument lights! I've hated this set up since I bought my '60, almost every car I've owned uses the basic switch that turns on the instrument lights in the parking light (and head light)
position.
Anyway, I got a switch from a '59 Lark that has the normal 2 position set up- and the instrument lights come on in both positions. I installed it today, virtually trouble free except a connector has to be changed for the circuit breaker stud. Another bonus: the '59 switch is only $28 at S.I. versus $70 for the '60.
position.
