  • Happy 4th of July to everyone!...

I want to wish everyone a great 4th of July holiday. To keep this Studebaker related my Avanti will be in a parade on the 4th with a couple of other Avantis and Studes. We also need to keep in mind the real reason behind the holiday...it's not just about picnics, parades, barbecue and beer.

For everyone making their way home from Warwick...wishing you a safe journey. Take a moment to think of, and appreciate, those who blazed the paths beneath you. Whatever road you take, look around, great history, great sacrifice, and still, today, few places on earth, exist, where so many counties, municipalities, and state borders, can be so easily crossed. So much freedom, with so little thought...absolutely remarkable!

Hey Bruce, glad you can make it. Small town, small parade, BIG enthusiasm.

                      Happy 4th Everyone!

We headed north for a couple of days with Mr. & Mrs. Jones (JTS359 here on the forum) before the Warwick Meet with a stop in Boston. We took the Freedom Trail walking tour, and it was great!
I think anyone applying to become a U.S. Citizen should be required to take the tour, along with learning to speak English!
                      There, I said it!
