Interesting story Robert, thanks for sharing. The writer was pretty glib about Studebaker weathering the "Great Depression" since they almost didn't nor did she elaborate on the fact that Studebaker's last two years were spent in Canada though.

The article states that Studebaker began making wagons and sleighs starting in 1868. Not sure how the author could have gotten that wrong since the company beginnings are published in numerous places, all stating the company got started in 1852.
