Not only were Studebakers ahead of their time, they were also very green.

How can they tell that it is a "50s" and not a 1949? <G>

There appears to be more than $500 in usable parts there, such as tailgate, rear fenders, radiator, ---.

Is that a 1958 Plymouth station wagon behind it (my screen is too small to tell)?

Looks like it's got a radio as well.

          Yes; '58 Plymouth.

Based on the straight windshield wiper mount, I would say it is a 49 model. My understanding is that the piece got changed in 50.

I wonder if they'll throw in the Complete CARPETING for the same price?

That truck is more alive than when it was running!
It would be amazing as an exhibit in a conservatory or museum, provided environmental conditions were sustained.
A nice oil painting or suite of pastel drawings or photos of this truck would go for more than the ask, I think.

Regardless of what happens to this truck...I LOVE THOSE PICS!!!

Each one of them, would make great wall posters, calendars, stationary, and digital wallpaper. The smart thing to do, would be to copyright the pics, and sell them.

                      .
I'll pass on trying to fix it. I do get them in for repair in that condition sometimes, though.

The stamping on the rear panel below the window. In the photo, it appears much deeper than early 2R's such as this one:

Which part of the stamping? I'm not clear on that.
